Cookie Policy
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Intelligence.AI, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on inteiligence.org (the "Service"). It supplements our Privacy Policy. The Service is an AI model benchmarking platform; the cookies described here support platform operation and aggregate usage measurement, not behavioral advertising.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to recognise your device across page loads, maintain your login session, store preferences, and measure aggregate usage. We also use related technologies such as browser local storage for cookie-banner dismissal state and API session tokens.
3. How We Use Cookies
| Category | Examples | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | session token, CSRF token, API auth cookie, cookie-banner dismissal state | session to 12 months |
| Preferences | leaderboard sort order, selected category tab | up to 12 months |
| Analytics | self-hosted page-view and API-call counters, anonymised aggregate metrics | up to 13 months |
| Marketing | not currently used | not applicable |
We do not place third-party advertising cookies. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors by name or account.
4. Notice and Choice
By continuing to use the Service, you consent to our use of cookies as described above. You can opt out of analytics cookies by configuring your browser to block them or by using our cookie notice banner. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without breaking core platform functionality such as login and API authentication.
5. Universal Opt-Out Signals
Where applicable state law requires (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Oregon), we honour browser-transmitted opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") for analytics and any future targeted-advertising categories. When we detect a GPC signal, we suppress analytics initialisation for that browser or device session.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third parties acting as our service providers, such as the infrastructure hosting our self-hosted analytics. We have data-processing agreements with such providers limiting their use of data to providing the contracted service.
7. Managing Cookies
- Use our cookie notice banner (shown on your first visit) to acknowledge our cookie use; the "Cookie preferences" link in our footer lets you re-open it at any time.
- Browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies; see aboutcookies.org for browser-specific instructions. Note that blocking all cookies will prevent login and API authentication.
8. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy when our analytics stack or cookie practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects any material revision.
